Battery CBK4-300 Rechargeable Canon run out

Great Product. I recently bought a Canon S3 IS camera and was pleased to note that Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery uses AA batteries rather than the costly rechargeable batteries I had in my Canon G2 (about $50 per). I didn't however want to go to the expense and bother of constantly having to replace AA batteries. I was delighted to find this rechargeable option and purchased. To date, Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery works great. I can use rechargeable batteries most of the time and have non-rechargeable batteries for emergencies (e.g., trips) Great find and purchase. Good value
Wonderful product, but pricey. This is an absolutely wonderful product if you don't mind the fairly high price. If you've done any research, you already know that there are similar products available for less. I own the Canon PowerShot S5 IS and Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery (and other Canon cameras) run on any brand of AA batteries.

These batteries do seem to have a very long life in between charges. Occasionally I won't have any other choice but to purchase regular batteries when I'm out and I'm desperate and Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery always seems like they die much more quickly than when I have the Canon batteries in the camera.

Bottom line: I'm very happy with these batteries and you will be too.
Excellent battery life. The batteries included last quite a long while. I took my camera for a vacation trip, taking a TON of vidoes and over 500 snapshots. Even while keeping my Cannon S5IS turned on, with screen, these batteries lasted all day, every day. I only needed to charge Canon CBK4-300 Rechargeable Battery once in two days of active shooting, as well as uploading and reviewing time. My only complaint is the charger takes a while to recharge the batteries. Still, these are some of the best batteries i've used with my cannon S5 camera.

MP 12.1 PowerShot SD780IS Canon data

I'd like Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP to be bigger and heavier.. I'd like Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP to be bigger and heavier. I miss the feel of my old Nikon F2.
Lived up to the hype. PROs: I am thrilled with Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP camera. After doing some research for a couple of months between Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP camera, the nikon d80 and the prestigious canon 40d, I decided on the XSi for my needs. Best overall price to my performance needs. Image quality is fantastic, even though the kit lens is at best, good. Going to purchase a 50mm 1.4, 70-200 4L, and a better walk around lens as soon as I get completely sick of the 18-55 IS kit lens, but for now its a good starter lens. Though I honestly think the nikon d80 and the 40d are better cameras for experienced and serious users, primarily I am loyal to Canon (best brand) and the 40d is just too bulky and expensive for me. I don't need all the extra bells and whistles provided by the 40d at Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP point of my life.
If you want a light, easy to use and learn (for first time users), long lasting battery (about 500 images), nice clear LCD and fairly cheap price to performance ratio Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP camera blows out all nikons, pentax, and sony's out there for the beginner/transitioning to intermediate shooters. I chose Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP camera over the 40d because its more suitable for me and most importantly I can use the price difference between the XSi and the 40d to get my 70-200 4L for free basically.

Cons: Again the common gripe over the grip, but honestly its not that bad if you have small to medium size hands. you will adapt quickly as the pro's of the camera immediately mask any cons present. No better kit lens option out yet.

Overall: Fantastic lens for beginner/beginner-intermediate users as the vast majority of professional reviews have stated...

Note: Please get a nice memory card I recommend the 4 or 8GB SanDisk EXTREME III (it's worth the extra $5-10) or any SDHC that is class 6, save a little change for some other lenses as you will fall in love with Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP camera and will be compelled to buy more lenses, and lastly buy some decent filters as you will appreciate the image quality and protection they provide. the RC-1 is a nice accessory. I hope Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP was helpful for you as all the other reviews were helpful to me.
Great Camera For The Beginning Photographer. I'm a photo enthusiast who's been using the Canon XSi for six months now and here are my impressions.

Weight/Handling: First off, the camera is really light. If anyone tells you that this camera is heavy, then they probably never held a full-frame professional DSLR. The light weight makes Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP a joy to carry around when traveling. However, serious/pro photographers might feel that the small weight and size lend to an unprofessional feel. Also, this is a minor point, but the shutter makes a high pitched noise as opposed to more professional cameras that have a low, unobtrusive noise. This camera doesn't have too many buttons, as opposed to Nikon cameras. Rather, many of the more specialized functions have to be accessed through menus. Some people will find this very annoying. I personally don't mind. In addition, if you have big hands, you will have a hard maintaining a comfortable grip on the camera because the grip is rather small. If this is the case, consider purchasing the optional battery grip.

Image Quality: At low ISO settings, the image quality is very good and I actually performed a professional portrait shoot using this camera. The 12 megapixels are enough to get good 8x12inch prints, and in really ideal situations with a good lens, proper lighting, exposure, etc, you might be able to squeeze out 12x18inch prints. At ISO 800 and above, noise does become perceptible and if you use heavy amounts of sharpening, images will appear quite nasty. However, if you stay away from over-sharpening at high ISO's, a small amount of software noise reduction should take care of most problems. Thus, this camera is not very good in situations with low light AND moving subjects, such as parties. For this reason, I am considering upgrading to the 5D for better noise handling. And remember, image quality has more to do with a good lens than Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP has to do with with a camera's megapixel number.

Kit Lens: The kit lens is enough to handle basic photographic needs. My personal copy of the lens is very sharp in the center but you might not be so lucky. The focus ring is REALLY TINY and so if you're a manual focus type of person, you'll want to find a new lens very quickly. Also, if you want to take pictures of your kids playing sports or indoor pictures with lots of moving people, consider getting a faster lens. For sports, I recommend the 55-250 IS, 70-300IS, or if you can afford it, the 70-200 2.8L. For indoor/low-light photography, consider augmenting your kit with a prime lens such as the 50mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4, or if you know about the benefits of the L series of Canon lens, I probably don't need to refer you to any more lenses.

Other Issues: The on-camera flash is almost completely useless for taking pictures of people in dim lighting. Why? Because Canon's engineers somehow decided that they should have the flash fire 5-10 quick bursts to assist the camera's various sensors. Trust me, your subjects will not appreciate your flash firing off like a machine gun in front of their face. I highly recommend an external flash like the 420ex or 430ex if you're getting this camera to solve that problem. Nikon users will not have to deal with the problem.

Overall Impressions: If you're just getting into the world of DSLRs or you're a photo enthusiast strapped for cash (like me), the XSi is a great choice to start out on and with skilled use, its hardware is capable of achieving very good results. Also, by choosing Canon, you have access to the largest selection of lenses. I've taken some great pictures with this camera and I plan to keep Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP around. However, you might also want to evaluate the Canon 40D and the Nikon D90.

10 mp a480 canon powershot and you

I love my new toy!!!. After much research, canon powershot a480 10 mp little camera stood out. The images that come from canon powershot a480 10 mp camera are remarkable. The colors are amazing and I've been playing around with all of the different settings. I took a picture of my dog barking under the pets and kids setting and the picture of him was so clear and sharp. Absolutely nothing was blurred in the shot and the detail in the photo was fantastic! I can't wait to take canon powershot a480 10 mp on vacation with me. Now only if I can get my canon printer to live up to its standards! Excellent Camera - Image Stabilization - Great Price - 5/5. I lost my older SD1100is due to my carelessness and thus had to come and buy another. I refuse to replace canon powershot a480 10 mp with anything else out there. The 1100is is the smallest digital camera with all of the features that Canon provides in this price range. $159 bucks gets you an excellent device with 8mp and image stabilization. Honestly, if you are printing small images 4x6 or 5x7 then 4-5mega pixels is all you will ever need. Canon on this camera kept the 8mp but incorporated some awesome features. My family uses this camera on a regular basis and apart from the occasional red-eye, we have no issues. Did you know that you can actually view the pictures on the camera and remove red-eye before you transfer them to your computer? Awesome feature again. The zoom on the camera and the flash are plentiful and in my opinion do an excellent job for general day to day photography. This is not a professionals digital camera...but I would not be surprised if some of them had one in their bag for occasional light duty work. I wont go into details about what is in the box, etc...as that can be found on the product page. One other thing I would like to recommend, is the EYE-FI SD Cards....we use a 2gb version that allows for wireless uploads to your computer and various image sharing websites....its a must buy. Why I recommend canon powershot a480 10 mp with this camera is that I have seen very little to no battery drain when the Eye-Fi card is uploading images to the computer via our wireless network or from hotspots in airports/McDonalds etc... See my review: http://www.amazon.com/review/product/B001ACXHXE/ref=cm_cr_pr_recent?_encoding=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending Enjoy. Just what I wanted in a small camera. I bought this because I wanted a small digital camera for basic everyday pictures and canon powershot a480 10 mp has been great. canon powershot a480 10 mp takes good shots, is easy to take places (it fits in the cell phone pocket of my purse) and is easy to use. The battery life is awesome, I have only had to charge canon powershot a480 10 mp once in the last three weeks, and I have taken tons of pictures. The only drawback is the memory card that comes with canon powershot a480 10 mp only holds 13 pictures, so I upgraded canon powershot a480 10 mp to a 2G one that will hold hundreds. Love this camera! Have noticed many other people with the same one, and the love canon powershot a480 10 mp too

You know about Canon NB-7L Battery

Very Happy!. Purchased from We Sell Bulk here on Amazon and received the item much faster than predicted delivery date - I only say that because there's always a list and it's often difficult to pick which seller is the one to go with. Anyhow, the battery came in original and undamaged Canon packaging (looks just like the images available in product description). I was not about to buy the cheap knockoffs and was worried that the one I ordered would be any different than the one that came with the camera (damaged item or store return). Well, after a couple charges and hundreds of pictures, I can say that this battery is exactly the same as our original. Canon NB-7L Battery lasts just as long and charges in the same amount of time. Our camera is fairly new so Canon NB-7L Battery was a fair comparison - one battery wasn't all that much older than the other.
Email me with questions: mister_mr_d@hotmail.com
Canon NB-5L Battery Pack. The battery I got has a terrible quality. With a full charge over night (~8 hours), the battery only sustained my SD800 IS camera less than 12 hours normal usage, shot around 20 pictures. Versus to the original battery pack with the camera, the original battery can last over two days normal usage, shot around> 100 pictures. I believe the vendor selling degraded products. I love Canon NB-7L Battery .
Expected Quality. Canon NB-7L Battery is the battery that comes as original equipment with my Canon camera. I need an extra in order to always have a charged battery available when a change is necessary. With the Canon name on it, I expect highest quality.

Powershot mp 12.1 canon sd780is and you

MegaPixels Are Not Everything!. Interface and controls are a little quirky and seemingly not as user friendly as the DSC-W90 I was replacing. I loved the DSC-W90, but canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp quit working properly after 1-1/2 years, and Sony wanted $182 to repair it.

I was particularly disappointed to find that the DSC-W200 camera does not have the capability to superimpose the date on the picture.

If I had canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp to do over, I would have saved some money and bought the DSC-W80 which is probably more like the W90 I liked so well.
Seems to be good for Under Water use. I've had this camera about 3 weeks and I've taken a number of photos with it. Initially I was disappointed in that the on line liturature (including from Sony) all says Macro down to 2 CM, when its actually down to 5 CM (2 inches) and that (5 CM) is stated in the book that comes with it. I use macro a lot in underwater photography and some on land. My previous Sony camera (and yes I flooded it, hence the new one) did go down to 2 CM but the fact is I seldom got that close because (a) canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp tends to scare the daylights out of any creatures that can move and (b) the depth of field becomes almost 2 deminsional - that's just optics and photography. So I usually get further away to increase the depth of field and crop to what I want. So while that was a disappointment the fact is it's of little actual consequence.

I've taken quite a few photos with canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp primarily getting the feel of canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp and learning to use this particular one. My previous camera was a Sony F707 so the small size of this one is a pleasant change. The menus are intuitive and easy to use. Key functions like macro and flash are not menu driven but button driven so changes can be made quickly. canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp takes good photos. The colors are good and the detail is good. The more I use canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp the more I like it. The battery life is very good as was my old F707. I like the ability to delete one, selected photos or everything on the memory stick (or internal memory). For macro (and other modes) the focus mode can easily be changed, via menu, to a spot focus (it has to be in the P setting though to get to that option) and that is a good feature. Other features such as photo size and exposure mode are similarly easily set. The screen is large and can be turned off to save battery life. The optical view finder is small and would suffer from offset if used close up. The difference in battery life when using the screen isn't that much. The view finder is most useful when bright light makes the screen hard to see - pretty much true for all of them.

Lag time, while not that of digital SLR's is OK, not outstanding but good. Start up time is very good and canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp has about a 3 minute time out period so it's not off everytime you get ready to take a photo (very important U/W) and if canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp is off canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp comes on very quickly.

The camera comes with a summary booklet which covers the basics. The full booklet is a .pdf file. The book is OK to good, not great. The info is there just not alwasy that easy to find.

I also bought the marine pack underwater housing to go with it. It's good down to 40 meters and is very compact. Every feature on the camera can be accessed while it's in the housing. I'm a scuba instructor and this past weekend I took canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp to an old quarry that we use as a training facility for diving. The visibility ws OK, not great by any means, somewhat green - the usual freshwater stuff. I got there early and got in with the camera and housing before the students had a chance to kick canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp up worse and took some underwater photos - not expecting much considering the visibility and light balance. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the photos. Other shops pros commented on the photo quality considering where they were taken. The shop owner asked for copies to put on the shop web gallery. I'll be taking canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp down to Cayman Brac the first of next month so I'm certainly looking forward to using canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp there. Incidently the housing is very useful for photography when it's raining or any chance to get wet such as boats, rafting and the like. They're even used in industrial environments because the housing removes any small possibility of the camera being an ignition sourse.

And as was previously mentioned, even the battery charger is compact. The battery is charged outside the camera, good so you have a battery charging back in the room while you're using the other one. canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp is a propritary battery so a spare is a good idea.

I'm happy with the camera. The more I use canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp the more I like it. It's very small, it's very easy to use and takes very good photos.

1/3/08 I've used this camera in the underwater housing for dive trips to Cayman Brac and Panama City Beach, FL. I have not got the color balance underwater to be quite as good as I would like. In all fairness I have not gotten a good strobe for this camera so my experience is using available light or the on board flash. There are times I would like a bit more sharpness for macro shots. I think I was spoiled to the huge lens on the old Sony 707 this replaced. canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp did great on the above water shots.
Love it. I love this camera. The screen is big and clear. I've had canon powershot sd780is 12.1 mp for 2 years and i still love it.

D10 MP 12.1 PowerShot Canon change

By far, the best camera I've ever bought (opinion after 2 months of heavy use). First of all, let me address one of the major complaints about this camera: low light AF hunting. I've never had a digital camera that did NOT have trouble getting its focus in low light. The Canon XTi has the problem, my Minolta digital had the problem and, from what I've read the Olympus E510 and Nikon D60 also have that problem. But with the P5100 there are ways around Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP using the landscape setting.

The other problem, much discussed, is the noise factor. If you are seriously thinking about this camera and like low light photography, as I do, then I would suggest you go to this Flickr link and have a look at how capable the P5100 truly is in low light situations. Noise is not a factor if the settings are correct.

I bought this looking for a camera capable of doing film-like work (or as close as possible)with a very small body. That does not mean I am necessarily looking for razor-sharp resolution (though you do get that with this fine Nikkor lens). I wanted a certain "look" to the photographs that this camera can indeed produce.

No RAW? Who cares! I don't do PS anyway and would rather have an excellent camera that takes great photographs in the first place and doesn't require the use of RAW and hours slaving away over Photo Shop rebuilding a flawed photograph piece by piece. No thank you. If that appeals to you then get the G9 or G10, but don't try to put Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP in your pocket! But if you want what is, IMHO, a better camera and lens to use on site and get Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP right the first time, on location, then this is a better choice. Have a look at this link to see the P5100's low light capability and film-like qualities: http://www.flickr.com/photos/atemzeit/2312242297/
or this:
www.flickr.com/photos/atemzeit/276954369/sizes/o/in/set-72157594379505014/

Or here to see its beautiful bokeh: http://www.flickr.com/photos/soul-san/2585370492/

And bear in mind that this camera does this with 12.1 pixels on a tiny little sensor. How? The secret is the custom application of the EXPEED digital image processing engine. Something the G9 and G10 don't have. You get the advantages of a huge pixel count (on a small sensor) but without the excessive noise found on cameras not possessing such a capable processing engine. And, regarding the G9 and G10, not only is this camera much smaller but the build is far better and Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP has a hard substantial feel, thanks in part to the magnesium body.

If you want to reduce the pixel count on your sensor to increase the dynamic range this camera can do that. Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP can be reduced to 8M, 5M, 3M, 2M or 1M. Also, how many digital cameras these days offer ISO settings of 64 and 100? This one does.

But, for me, all Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP boils down to is this: is this camera able to deliver the look you are searching for or not? If you like what you see when you brouse Flickr then give Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP a try. If you don't like what you see, give Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP a pass. The proof is in the pudding and you can read ten different reviews and everyone says something different. So just go by the results you can see on the net.

This review is my opinion only and, as I said, you can certainly find people who do not agree with me about this. I read many reviews and finally just decided to peruse Flickr to see actual results. So don't take my word for it, look for yourself.
My best purchase ever. I bought this camera, Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP was the best purchase I ever did, I want to thanks every review I read before the purchase, I read one about the slow process when you take a picture, I went "Ohh what I did", I read Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP after I bought Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP and before I received it, but when I shot at 12M with all features at high and with a regular SD card, Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP was quite quick in my opinion, I don't know if he was comparing Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP with another camera, taking videos is good with this cam, and pictures are great, this camera for the price is a most!!! I recommend Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP 100%
LOVE LOVE LOVE This camera!!!. Ok so my last camera was a Nikon 3200 which we loved but the shutterspeed was slow and Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP was just a little outdated. We decided Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP was time for a new camera so we went to the store and ended up with an Olympus 1000 (great sale price). We got home and after we used Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP a couple of times we realy didn't like the camera because many pictures were blurred and just not very clear. So we sold the Olympus and splurged and got this camera. This camera is worth every penny! The pictures are so clear and the camera is actually much easier to use than I thought Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP would be. We took a picture of our ceiling fan while Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP was on high just to see how Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP would turn out and in the picture Canon PowerShot D10 12.1 MP is as clear as if the fan was off. This is an amazing camera with awesome features and my husband and I are both blown away by the picture quality. We can't wait to get outside and use the camera to try all the features.

Details about PowerShot 12 Canon MP SX200IS

Excellent Point & Shoot. As the satisfied owner of a Nikon digital SLR, I originally purchased the Nikon P5100 point & shoot as a holiday gift, but soon found that sluggish low-light focusing was a problem with that model. I returned the Nikon and replaced Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP with the Canon SD950IS. I couldn't be more pleased with the unit. Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP has a solid feel, excellent fit & finish (I like the durable titanium shell), excellent resolution on the 2.5 inch LCD and takes terrific shots right out of the box. Canon packs a LOT of technology into a very small package. The enclosed 32MB memory card will get you up and running, but only holds about 10 high-resolution shots, so you'll want to upgrade to a 2-4GB. It's not a replacement for a quality SLR, but Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP does a terrific job as a convenient, compact, high-quality point & shoot. I hightly recommend it.
Nearly perfect compact point and shoot camera - and more!. I'm a Canon convert with this camera. I've had several small point and shoot cameras - this is hands-down the best I've owned. The previous one had some serious issues with the images, they were over-processed - detail was fuzzed out and there was nothing you could do about it. Some of the megapixel race cameras (that was 10mp) have issues because of that in-camera processing. This Canon has absolutely excellent quality images, and the camera is everything I could hope for in a camera this size. I'm amazed how well the SD950 captures the essence of light - previous cameras have been a compromise but this camera captures sunsets, clouds, vegetation, people with life-like colors. The face recognition technology makes amazingly good people shots. I like the tiny format for being able to take Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP with me all the time - I can bring my DSLR on planned outings, but the little Canon is always ready.

I have pretty big hands and this camera is easy for me to grip and handle - other reviews noted this and they are absolutely correct. Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP looks sleek and smooth, but it's nearly perfect in terms of gripping Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP and controlling it.

All-in-all, this seems to be the nearly perfect shirt pocket point and shoot camera!

Pros:

Pocketable, viewfinder (small but better than not having one), bright and wide view LCD display, intuitive simple controls, nice telephoto zoom, image stabilization, easy menu operation, automatic modes almost always capture what you want, excellent - especially for a 12mp camera - images, superb movie mode, decent album and editing software, easy downloading.

Cons:

Limited manual operation, while shooting, thumb can open battery door if you're not careful, USB door barely opens enough to get plug in.
A happy customer. Canon PowerShot SX200IS 12 MP is the third Cannon I've bought over the years, and I'm very pleased with it, as always.

10MP Purple Canon A1000IS must go on

Camera review. The Canon camera is easy to use with reasonable quality phots. A user friendly little tool. I enjoy Canon A1000IS 10MP Purple .
Easy to use and excellent photos. Canon A1000IS 10MP Purple Canon A1000IS if just want I needed and looked for. It's easy to use for taking shots for a book I'm writing in dark and light situations. I find it's difficult to work the battery hold and sometimes can't open the cover easily. Otherwise, no complaints. I recommend Canon A1000IS 10MP Purple cameera for many kinds of uses.
It's An Excellent Camera, but.... Canon A1000IS 10MP Purple is an excellent camera for the price, but I was a little disappointed about one thing and pleasantly surprised about another thing.

I was disappointed that I couldn't manually focus as I could do with the Canon a510 that I purchased 3 1/2 years ago. Canon A1000IS 10MP Purple is especially helpful in low light situations. It's also nice to be able to check whether or not the auto-focus has focused properly...You can set the A1000 to "macro", "normal" and "infinity", but from there you have to hope that the auto-focus worked properly.

I was pleasantly surprised that the aperture automatically adjusted to the changing light conditions in the movie mode. You can also lighten or darken the light reading in the movie mode, but if you do this, the aperture won't adjust to changing light conditions as you make a video.

The camera is small enough to fit in a small case or pocket or pocketbook.

Powershot 14.7MP SD990IS Silver Canon must go on

Awesome camera . I got this camera as a carry-around-on-an-everyday-basis camera - got a little tired of dragging my Canon 20D around.

This camera is very nicely built, feels very solid and sturdy. The button layout is very easy to use and very fast to maneuver. The learning curve is also quite short, as most things on the camera just makes sense.

The technical quality of the camera, leaves little to be desired. Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver takes amazing photos, of course with all the limitations such a small camera has. The zoom is nice and fast and focusing is most times spot on. Only thing I wish was better, was low light capability, but then again, no camera with a sensor and lens this small will do much better.

I can highly recommend this camera as an everyday use camera, due to it's light weight, small size and outstanding quality.

A general precaution to every photographer: always bring extra memory cards and batteries - you will end up snapping away..
Excellent Camera with 1 exception. I LOVE this camera, I bought Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver to upgrade from my PowerShot SD900 (10MP). The thought of having 14.7MP was too good to pass up - and the pictures Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver takes are astounding. Astounding clarity and detail. I love it. However a big drawback for me is Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver doesnt take High Resolution video like the SD900. Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver does take video, just standard 640x480, but those vids lack the sharpness and crispness that I am used to with the SD900. When I first realized this I decided to return the camera, but I am too hooked on the 14.7 now, so I am keeping both cameras. I want 1 camera to do both, guess I will have to settle for 2 for now.
Excellent camera. This Canon PowerShot does Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver all... I like Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver for its convenience without having to lug around a big dslr camera. Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver has image stabilization and Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP Silver provides the photography enthusiast with a camera that can be used easily on auto mode or more professionally on a variety of other modes.

Canon IS Silver PowerShot SD770 10MP focus

great camera best price!. This is a great camera for the best price can find!
I wanted a small digital camera with a decent size screen, high mega pixal and a quick shutter speed. This camera had Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Silver all and with the 16 GB memory card I will never have to worry about picture storage again (4000 pictures at the highest quality).
I am continually impressed with the picture and video quality. I am now a Cannon person for life!
great camera. This is my second power shot. I had an older version that turned itself on in my bag and the lense mechanisim got messed up so Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Silver would no longer focus on its own. I considered a Panasonic as a friend let me borrow theirs and Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Silver was a nice camera with comparable features and megapixel output for about $50 less. My great experience with the previous canon made me choose the Canon in the end. I am very pleased with the camera and picture quality Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Silver takes great pics even at low light. I suggest a hard case to protect Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Silver from accidentally turning Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Silver on. Camera manufactures really should put a lock tab on similar to ipods and id still be using my old one.
Perfect point and shoot. I love the size and physical design of this camera. A lot of the other Canons have odd shapes and are definitely not as sleek as this one. As far as functionality, I think Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Silver has more than enough features to take a decent shot in any environment. The one thing they should have changed is their ISO setting. You can only switch from normal to HI...I'd prefer to be able to change from 100 to 400 or 1600. Overall a great camera for the price!!

Think of SX110IS Powershot 9MP Silver Canon ?

great camera. I love this camera, great vendor, quick service. This is our second canon so we can both have one on us if we are in different cars. I have a bigger slr canon and this one takes just as good if not better with less hassel than the bigger camera. Gotta love it, quick easy and great pictures. I have recommended Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Silver to many of my friends and even a few strangers.
Window into the world. Excellent camera! We bought Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Silver for a friend in our country, Armenia, and he is not only very happy but also proud of Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Silver (and us choosing Amazon for that high quality product). Keep Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Silver up!
Can you handle it? I can't...... Personally, I think I purchased too much camera! I was looking for an easy point and shoot with a good zoom. The camera is a little bigger than I expected and already presented a problem when I was out with my friends and family. I kept putting the camera away instead holding on to it. The time in between pics for the flash to recharge is unacceptable! After reading so many reviews Canon Powershot SX110IS 9MP Silver seems the cameras with AA batteries tend to have a delay in between pics, why I don't know. That alone has steered me away from this camera. I'm a mom of 2 active boys and I wanted a camera that's easy to take along, take quick pics and easy to learn. The camera however, does take amazing pics and great video. However, a ton of my pics came out blurry, especially if I didn't remember to lift up the flash which I never did. There is just too much too learn with this camera and just too many features and setting. A little too overwhelming for me. Curious as to why the flash recharge is so long? Does anyone know? So I'm returning this camera and getting my SD750 fixed for the $100 Canon is going to charge me or I'm getting the A590is, not sure. Suggestions welcomed.

Yes.. 6x Optical 10MP A2000IS Canon

Slow charge time for flash between shots. The pictures are great, but unfortunately the time in between shots that the camera takes to charge the flash is unbearable. Canon A2000IS 10MP 6x Optical is not practical for our needs. We were not expecting DSLR speed between shots we were expecting the same time as our older Canon A95.
great camera, great deal. camera has been everything we wanted, i definetly will use amazon for my next purchase! I love Canon A2000IS 10MP 6x Optical .
Disappointed. The camera takes great pictures and videos, but Canon A2000IS 10MP 6x Optical has one big problem: Canon A2000IS 10MP 6x Optical takes around 5 seconds to load the picture you just took, making Canon A2000IS 10MP 6x Optical a slow camera.
With the cameras outhere nowadays, this sort of thing shouldn't happen.

It is definitely disappointing to have to wait so long to see the picture you just took, and to have to wait so long to actually take another picture. This happens only using the flash, so at least you won't have this problem during the day.

The other minor problem is that Canon A2000IS 10MP 6x Optical is way too big.. Canon A2000IS 10MP 6x Optical is not a pocket camera that's for sure. If you're looking for a small camera don't buy this one.

Aside from those problems, the camera is very good, your typical cannon camera.

You know about Canon A1000IS 10MP Powershot camera

Decent deal. Bought this camera because I was looking to own a cam that is AA battery operated. My old camera was a 2003 graduation gift (canon powershot sd100) and Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP camera still works fine, I just fed up with keep buying new batteries (for $40) every year not to mention how much I hated to lose pictures due to battery issues. Now I can just replace the old batteries with new AAs and I'm good.

There are two things I don't like about this camera, the A1000IS. 1. the flash. The flash is at the very top corner of the camera and most of the times I don't even realize that I cover Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP camera when I shoot the picture....and the picture will come out dark. Also, the flash on my old and now 6 year old Canon Powershot SD100was brighter and better than this one. 2. the materials used for this new camera are pretty cheap compared to my old SD100 which was hard metal not some cheap plastic like this. The pictures Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP camera takes are nice but I'm not sure if it's any nicer then the ones I take with the SD100.
great gift idea for a first time digi cam owner. the item was purchased as a gift for a first time digital camera owner. the instructions are very clear and precise with pictures that help explain each function of the camera. after seeing some of the pictures taken with the camera one can be truly amazed at what such a small thing can do. crisp clear pictures. zoom in and out. ed Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP camera pictures on computer after downloading from the camera. lots lots more. great for a beginner and can give you pohtographer quality.
Canon Powershot. Canon PowerShot A590IS 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom

Great camera - my first digital and it's so easy to use. Just point and shoot.
I like Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP camera .

Canon MP PowerShot A470 7.1 answer

A terrific family camera~. This is a great camera. Has a 2.5" screen and it's quite bright. Canon PowerShot A470 7.1 MP has a zillion settings you can make, and all the bells and whistles the average user could ever expect from a less than $100. camera. I paid $91. free shipping. Ya can't beat Amazon for the great service and safe shopping .

For the photo nut who wants special effects, it'll take some doing: the F stop and the shutterspeed are automatic. Canon PowerShot A470 7.1 MP suits nme fine because I want to take pics, not spend all day fiddling with the cameras options. Canon PowerShot A470 7.1 MP does take great pics, no question! I'm quite pleased with it!!!

If I had to make a less than positive comment, it's that the 186 page manual is in PDF format; that means iit is in the Canon disk, not a printed manual! It's a bugger to print if you're not good at printing such PDF documents using both sides of the paper. On the computer screen, the manual is quite big and bright. Also if your sharp with computers, you can download the manual to your memory card and read the manual from the camera screen, while you're away from home and your PC!. All in all, it's not a camera for the very very photographically involved; but, rather, if you take lots and lots of pics of home, family, vacations, etc, you'll love the A470 Canon Powershot
Wow!. I had a Canon camera that was only a couple of years old, go missing. Even though Canon PowerShot A470 7.1 MP had a lot more features, I figured that I'd buy a cheap camera to replace it, for now. (Maybe it'll still turn up, if not I may get a fancy camera for a replacement later.)

The old one was 5 Mega pixels, the new one is 7 Mega pixels. What is shocking however, is the amount of improvements that were made in digital cameras, in only a couple of years. While the new camera is relatively cheap, Canon PowerShot A470 7.1 MP is vastly better than my old one (and the old one was very highly rated, and from the same manufacturer).

While the old camera would take decent pictures, to get the exposure and colors right, I would always run the pictures through Photoshop's Auto-correct mode, before printing them out. With the new camera, they have somehow improved the electronics so much that every picture looks good straight out of the camera, without any correction in external software. (The external software will further improve on the pictures, but they're pretty good, even without touching them up.)

I don't know if I just lucked out with this particular model of camera, or if every new camera is this good. Anyway, when I need another camera, I'm not going to waste my money on a high end feature loaded camera. I'll just buy another cheap highly rated camera in a couple of years, and by then the advances made will more than outweigh the premium that I'd have to expend to get a loaded camera, now.

All in all, this camera is a great buy, great value, and can't take a bad picture!
camera review. operates as expected. small and point and shoot, reasonable flash recharge, and repeat action is accepatble. I like Canon PowerShot A470 7.1 MP .

Is PowerShot Digital Canon Camera A470 7MP suck?

PDA. After less than a month and about 400 pictures took it, I got a "Lens error, restart camera" (not the first one with this problem Canon should know about Canon PowerShot A470 7MP Digital Camera so far). Without any drop or hitting the camera. I was on trip mad to not viable to take more pictures. There is no international warranty.
NIMBLE FINGERS. I PURCHASED THIS CAMERA FOR MY VACATION IN JULY AND I HAVE REALLY LIKED Canon PowerShot A470 7MP Digital Camera FOR THE MOST PART. MY ONLY REAL COMPLAINT IS THAT THE BATTERY & SD CARD COMPARTMENT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO OPEN. I AM 66-YRS OLD AND MY FINGERS DON'T WORK SO WELL TO OPEN THIS AREA UP. OTHERWISE I REALLY DON'T SEE ANY OTHER REASON TO COMPLAIN.
Great camera at a great price !. This camera is really sharp looking in Orange
and easy to spot ! Canon PowerShot A470 7MP Digital Camera has all the features I
was looking for in my price range. And of course
it is Canon quality.

10MP Canon Powershot A1000IS happy

Just what I needed. I wanted a optical view finder because I couldn't see what I was taking a picture of. The next thing I wanted was a 10 Megapixel because I love taking close up photos. 3rd,thing I wanted was a larger optical zoom, so now I am very happy. I like Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP .
as promised. Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP product performs as advertised. Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP is an upgrade of my previous Canon (PowerShot A530)--I have never been disappointed by a Canon photo product. Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP one arrived in perfect condition, and I have been able to simply and successfully connect via the same USB cable to the existing Canon download program/software, which works just fine. I'm exploring the newer camera features, though I'm not much of a photographer, more like a snapshot devotee. Camera is easy, but also offers some more complicated functions for those folks who are so inclined.
cannon . great camera, good price. Two of the sites were con artists , offered low prices, if you ordered attachments. no deal otherwise. Also said camera was a grey market camera and had to be sent back to Japan for any warranty work. I like Canon Powershot A1000IS 10MP .

Canon Battery NB-2LH Rechargeable must go on

Canon NB-2LH. I bought a non-Canon battery the first time. Canon NB-2LH Rechargeable Battery didn't last even a year. My original camera battery was a Canon NB-LH and I've had NO problems with it. Thus, I was willing to pay more and get quality over price. Got the product very quick with no problems.
Get this Original batteries, Not a generic one.......... I love this original batteries from canon. I have bought a expensive genric one from best buy and now Canon NB-2LH Rechargeable Battery wouldn't even charge. Don't ever buy genric brand batteries for your camera, camcorder, etc.. Just get the original one, even if Canon NB-2LH Rechargeable Battery cost you just a little more.....
Canon NB-2LH. These batteries last forever. i've taken hundreds of shot and it's still not dead. I'm an amature photographer and i take a lot of pics and i dont have to charge these for like a week or two. recommened to anyone who wants a long battery I like Canon NB-2LH Rechargeable Battery .

PowerShot SD1100IS Canon 8MP forever

This deserves 4 1/2 stars, not quite 5. I think Amazon needs to change to a 10 point rating system. I think giving this item 4 stars is not doing Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP justice but I can't give Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP 5 unless I thought Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP was perfect.
I bought this after sampling numerous cameras in this size class. It's small enough to fit into a shirt pocket comfortably. I chose the gold color and Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP looks sweet. The controls and settings are not the most intuitive but not impossible either. The 2 1/2" screen is ok considering how small the rest of the camera is. I guess I would be real picky asking for 3 inches. The preview image that you get on the LCD is grainy but don't be discouraged. It's not the final result when the picture is taken. I must note that this camera also has a viewfinder in case you don't want to use the LCD screen. One of my main criteria was ISO settings and shooting pictures in low light. Indoors, this camera does an amazing job. All you have to do is set Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP to AUTO and Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP will give your exposures plenty of light around the subject. It's also smart enough to know when you are outside. Although, if you are not satisfied with the AUTO flash outside, then you can adjust the ISO manually. There is some noise with that but who cares?
As long as you shoot amazing pictures and this camera delivers. Another requirement when choosing a digi was the video quality. I've made a few videos and I'm impressed. This is actually better than some digital camcorders or at least on the same level. And to get that level in such a small package is remarkable. You can have fun with features like color accent or color swap. There is even time lapse video on here!
Another neat photography feature is panorama. I have to say that instead of in-camera photo stitching, you have to wait until you load the images on your pc and use the included software. That's a bummer but it's something I can overlook considering what else this cam brings. That's one of my very few negatives along with the fact that you can't re-charge the battery without removing Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP from the camera. For the price, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Strongly recommend for the casual user who wants to take quick pics of people and landscapes. And when I say quick, I mean quick. This camera is ready to take a picture 1 second after you turn Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP on.
Awesome pocket-sized camera for the price. I've had the Canon Elph cameras on and off for years and they are great. Good price, lots of features, and it's nice to get used to the Canon menu system as Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP is pretty much standard across all of their cameras. Overall hard to beat for the price...and the memory cards are dirt cheap.
Great pictures, amazing size. We had been looking for a new camera to replace our 3mp nikon and were ready to get the 870 when the 1100 came out. Needless to say we are very happy that we went with 1100. Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP has done a great job taking clear, non blurry images, has a nice amount of settings to help with more creative shots. The size is simply perfect, incredibly small but just the right size to allow for comfortable picture taking. I especially like the small indent on the left face that fits your finger perfectly.

14.7MP Powershot Canon SD990IS chance

32mb card is insulting. The camera might be fine, but the included 32 megabyte memory card is an absolute insult to all of their customers. 8 gigabyte memory cards are currently selling for $10 on Amazon, why is Canon insulting their customers with a 32 megabyte memory card? Canon should have included at least a 1 gigabyte memory card. I love Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP .
Great Camera. Takes the best pictures I've ever seen on a digital camera. Pictures are sharp and bright. An amazing product. Few drawbacks however as nothing is perfect although this one comes pretty close. Power plug is NOT included with the product; have to purchase that separately. Also, the power button is fairly weak and feels like Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP could fail any minute.
great compact camera. I recieved my camera 2 days after ordering Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP using the free shipping. I am not a camera buff but Canon Powershot SD990IS 14.7MP takes great pictures.

PowerShot A470 7.1MP Canon answer

Really nice camera. Bought Canon PowerShot A470 7.1MP camera so I could take good pictures while on vacation. The pictues came out clear, the face detection feature is cool and everything has been going well with my new camera.
Great small and simple camera. We bought this camera for our daughter (< 10 year old). So far, nothing to complain about. Very simple to use, good quality pictures, small enough to fit in a pocket. And she has not broken Canon PowerShot A470 7.1MP yet.
I love this thing. I'm not a fancy photographer, I just want to point and click. This baby is easy to use and powerful enough for everyday shots. Canon PowerShot A470 7.1MP replaces a PowerShot 2MP so the detail in my images is a real step up for me. Also, I usually don't care about a gadget's aesthetics vs its utility, but I love that it's cute and shiny. :D Looks great IRL. Adorama Camera delivered fast in perfect condition at a great price.

Focus on 10MP camera SD890IS PowerShot Canon

Great little camera. I bought this camera after my larger SLR was stolen out of my car. I wanted something with image stabilization, lots of megapixels, and as much optical zoom as I could afford. This camera really has Canon PowerShot SD890IS 10MP camera all. I'm really impressed with the amount of zoom it's got for a camera of its size.
AWESOME !!! :))))). Canon PowerShot SD890IS 10MP camera camera is awesome!!! I'm so glad that I decided to purchase Canon PowerShot SD890IS 10MP camera one. The quality of photos is excellent!!! I recommend Canon PowerShot SD890IS 10MP camera product to everybody who content a quality and precision. You won't have to be professional photographers when you decide to choose Canon PowerShot SD890IS 10MP camera kind of Canon's model!!!

890 0903. The SD890IS is my fourth Cannon digital. I am particularly pleased. I am testing Canon PowerShot SD890IS 10MP camera on a three week ski trip. Features such as "Snow" and Anti- Shake work better than expected. I have used the "Continuous" for recording fast moving skiing with very nice results. I have created several impressive "Stitched" mountain panorama.
Only short fall is camera surface is very slick and hard to handle with cold fingers. A textured surface would be a big improvement.

We are very happy that we again choose Canon.

Bob
